He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wilbert and Eula Mae Cheek; his uncles, James Cheek, Thomas Cheek, Ray Cheek and Causey Cheek; and his aunt Ollie Day.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Cheek, Jr., Sebrina Cheek and Samone; the mother of his children Shonda Cheek; his mother Ruby Burnett; his stepfather Charles Staley, Sr.; and his brother Charles Staley, Jr.. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
