As Welta departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Welta may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Welta leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhart Harsch and Ida T. Harsch. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Harrelson (Sharon) and Mark Harrelson (Tracey); and her granddaughters, Amy Dickinson (Trenton), Joanna Harrelson (Dylan Underwood) and Hailey Harrelson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 505 S Park Street, Asheboro, NC 27203—a place that held a sacred and central place in Welta's life. Keep Welta's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
