He is survived by: his wife Helen Sterling Parson; his children, William David Parson of Greensboro and Melanie Ruth Parson of Asheboro; his grandson Brandon Connor Parson of Greensboro; his siblings, Jerome Parson (Jerrilyn) of Gray Court, SC, Johnny Parson (Janice) of Stokesdale, Sharon Treat of Stokesdale and Rose Mary Lucas of Randleman; and his pet Daisy.
