She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Joyce (Randall) of Winston-Salem; her siblings, John McCreary of Harrogate, Hobert McCreary (Thelma) of Lafollette, Jeanette Sharp of Atlanta, Georgia and Martha Day (Jack) of Memphis; her son Bobby Burchfield of McLean; her granddaughters, Stephanie Kale Morris of Bala Cynwyd, Angela Kale Dudley (Chris) of Raleigh and Taylor Nicole Burchfield of Chicago; and her great grandchildren, Claire Morris, Campbell Dudley and Mason Dudley.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Burchfield's name to the First Baptist Church of Asheville.
