She is survived by: her children, Doris Mitchell of Charlotte, Freda Griffith and Freddy Mitchell (Tammy) of Asheville; her grandchildren, Brandy McDaniel, Portia Martinez, McKenzie Mitchell and Korey Griffith; and her great grandchildren, Makhiah Blair Higgins, Sariyah Peterson, Alexis Martinez, Dy'Min Martinez, Matisse, Millie and Salem Mitchell.
