We are sad to announce that, on March 10, 2023, at the age of 53, Anthony James Baird of Asheville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Cornelia Nelson; and his siblings, Willie Nickels III, Alfred Nelson, Vicky Nelson and Paula Nelson.
He is survived by: his sons, Jonathon Logan and Jamal Baird (Heather); his siblings, Michael Baird (Renee), Kenneth Robbs, John-Paul Nelson and Connie Whittenburg; and his grandchildren, Shania, Latearane, Synquisitiy, Monique, Little Johnathon, Zayland, Kymia and Nevaeh.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, all who attend the Memorial Service are REQUIRED to wear a face mask and practice social distancing).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Hospice Solace Center of Asheville or Worldwide Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in his memory.
