It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony T. Whiteside of Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 25, 2022, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Whiteside Sr. (Possum); and his sister Belinda Allen. He is survived by: his wife Veronica Sams Whiteside of Asheville; his mother Hassie Mae Whiteside of Asheville; his children, Sharnicec Sams of Arden, Charmonica Sams of Asheville, Teresa Allen of Asheville, Keonte Whiteside of Asheville, TyAnthony Whiteside of Spartanburg, SC and Javin Whiteside of Asheville; his siblings, Lafondra Whiteside of Rock Hill, NC and James Whiteside, Jr.; and his friends, Eddie Beck, Elder Andre Arrington, Gene Ettison, Wilburn "Peanut" Smith, Michael Byrd, Darrin Clayton and Joe Whiteside. He is also survived by friends, including some special cousins, nephews.
