He was predeceased by: his parents, David Johnson and Hazel Robinson Johnson; and his brother Albert James Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Frances Johnson; his children, MKeka B. Copney (Shondrika), Chelsea Moore and Candy Gossett; his brother Alfred John Johnson (Mattie); his grandchildren, Kiarah Copney, Kaliq Moore, Ariyonna Gossett, LaKiesha Gossett and Abby Blair; and his sister-in-law Patricia Johnson.
