With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Ann Dyar Mathis (Asheville, North Carolina), born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Dyar and Minnie Inez Dyar; her daughter Ante Lucy Raymer; her brothers, Buck Dyar and Jeo Dyar; and her pet Toby.

She is survived by: her children, Jeannie King (Bobby), John Eubanks, William Frank Eubanks and Sarah Dillinger; her grandchildren, Jackie Buckner (Earl), Beth Eubanks, Joseph Locklear and Daniel King; her siblings, Sue Dyar and Ralph Dyar (Gail); her nieces and nephews, Michelle Dyar, Michael Dyar, David Dyar, Derrick Dyar and Dakota Dyar; and her pets, Rover, Raven, Rosie and Inez.
