She is survived by: her mother Joan Fore; her husband Jeff Merrill; her children, Brandon Shope (Liz), Jordan Merrill and Holly Shope (Todd Franklin); her grandchildren, Delia, Luke and Jake; and her sisters, Alice Knighten (Ron) of Asheville, Brenda Fore of Asheville and Darlene Rickman (Reggie) of Asheville.
