He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Moffitt and Mary Willis Moffitt; his wife Dorcas Rhinehart Moffitt; and his siblings, Mary Jo Moore and Billy Rathburn.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Moffitt, Tim Moffitt (Dina) and Daryl Moffitt; his grandchildren, Cody Justus, CayCee Justus, Alex Moffitt (Marissa), Jesse Moffitt and Luke Moffitt; and his sister Frances Whitfield (Doug).
