He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ralph'Ted' and Lillian Elizabeth Guice; and his siblings, Billy Guice, Patsy Bolick and Larry Guice.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Crook of Asheville; his children, Bobby Lee Guice, Jr. (Joyce) of Hendersonville, David Guice (Kerry) of Brevard, Diane Hollifield (Larry) of Fletcher and Beth Adcock of Leicester; and his grandchildren, Tara Hurst (Mike), Adam Guice (Sherry), Tyler Littrell (Shalom), Amy Davis, Angela Worley (Jon), Lindsey Guice Smith (Bill), Colby Guice (Meredith), Zachary Hollifield, Alyssa Adcock, Caleb Adcock and Sarah Beth Adcock. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
