He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Young and Eva Irene Hudson Young; his siblings, Cecil Young (Ann), Richard Young, Ann Young and Linda Lail (Tom); and his nephew Donnie Lail.
He is survived by: his sister Glenda Young of Hickory; his nieces and nephews, Angie Heavner (Bryan) of Hickory, Patricia Young of Cherry Grove, SC, Tammy Anglin (Kent) of Burnsville, Deana Hallman (Josh) of Bostic, Pam Young of Lenoir, Lisa Young of Lenoir, Allan Young (Sheree) of Hickory and Ronnie Lail of Connelly Springs; his close friends, Robin Deviney (Max) of Casar, Jody Seagle of Connelly Springs, Joni Moore, Randy Bradshaw (Robin) and Nicolas Ragan of Vale; Jonas of Connelly Springs.
