He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Burleson and Clota McKinney Burleson. He is survived by: his wife Jean Clontz Burleson; his children, Sharon Anderson (Dwayne) of Marion and Jeff Burleson (Kim) of Asheville; his siblings, Jeri Craine (Joe) of Morehead City, Lena Frady (Wes) of Indiana, Vina Cole (Steve) of Asheville and Houston Burleson (Sandi) of Asheville; his grandchildren, Tera Anderson, Whitley Burleson, Levi Anderson and Avery Burleson; his great grandchildren, Lily, Walker and Koah Anderson; Jack, Maggie Atkins, Wayne and Lisa Atkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
