He was predeceased by: his parents, Bynum McCoy Lunsford, Sr. and Pauline Gillis Lunsford; his wife Judith Beck "Judy" Lunsford; and his stepsons, Robert Camby and Mark Scialo.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Natalie Loftin and Robert "Bobby" Scialo (Laura); and his daughter-in-law Sheila Camby. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
