With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn J. Wright (Asheville, North Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn J. Wright to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Phillip Justice and Una May Abbott; her husband Dotson Wright; and her daughter Jann Felder. She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Hart (Richard), Susan Thurman, Martha Ranches and Eleanor McGeary (John); and her grandchildren, Anita Hart, Callie Morris, Stephanie Wiener, Celia Thurman, Michael Keleher, Allyson Ranches, Emily Davidson, Anthony Ranches, Addison McGeary, Madeline O'Brien and Owen McGeary.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Morris Funeral & Cremation Care (304 Merrimon Ave, Asheville, NC 28801).
