She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Gash and Edna Mae Ashley; her son Willie Devon Williams III; and her siblings, Antonette Barksdale, James Robert Gash III, Ernest Charles Gash and Richard Gash.

She is survived by : her daughter Atonna Renea Webster; and her brother Phillip Eugene Ashley of Asheville, NC.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
