He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Whitley, Sr. and Edith Mary Fuerneisen Garner; his wife Patty Lou Baker Garner; and his children, Cori Schweitzer, Charles Wayne Garner and Tim Garner.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Catherine Ford, Jonathan Schweitzer, Victoria and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Jacob Masingill, Jarod Masingill and Liam Ford; and his adoptive daughter Fredia Higgins (Randy). He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
