He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie E. King and Virgie Ball King; his wife Margaret King; and his siblings, Edward Jesse "EJ" King Sr. and Shirley Gossett Roberts.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie and Sonya of Fletcher; and his brother Gerald. He is also survived by six nephews and four nieces.
