He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Miller, Cornelius Miller, Rev. Henry Miller, Louella McDaniels, Betty Simpson and Stella Miller; his wife Mary Elizabeth Williams; and his son Charles Thomas "Tommy" Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Robinson, LaDarrell G. Miller, Steven L. Miller and LaToya Y. Williams of Asheville; his daughter-in-law Jakuise Miller; and his close friend Jean McQueen. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers- and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Tried Stone Missionary Baptist Church (100 Carroll Ave, Asheville, NC 28801). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (1 Chapel of Faith Dr, Candler, NC 28715).
