With sadness, we share the passing of Connie Browne Hollar Greene in Asheville, North Carolina. Connie, born on May 11, 1941 in Cherryville, North Carolina, passed away on September 3, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Browne and Florence Browne; her siblings, Marceille Owens, Bobbie Hood, Earl Browne and Donald Browne; and her former husband Paul Hollar.
She is survived by: her husband Dick Greene; her children, David Hollar (Susan) and Valerie Martin Parsons (Mark); her grandchildren, Nick Martin (Melissa) and Ashley Parsons (Harrison); her great grandchildren, Sophie Martin and Blake Martin; and her sisters, Dot Maness and Doris Davis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Francis Asbury United Methodist Church (725 Asbury Rd, Candler, NC 28715).
