She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cecil Huskins and Zula Thomas Huskins; her in-laws, Henry Clifton Garbee and Ethel Waugh Garbee; her aunt Madge Thomas Dickson; and her brother-in-law Thomas Alexander Readling, Sr..

She is survived by: her husband Henry Welsey Garbee, Sr.; her children, Henry Wesley "Hank" Garbee, Jr. (Sarah) and Joanna Garbee Brumsey (Bill); her grandchildren, Thomas Henry Garbee (Emma Seckinger), Charles Wesley Garbee, Emma Elizabeth Brumsey, Paige Foreman Brumsey and William "Will" Brumsey V; her sister Betty Jo Readling (Gary Gibson); her brother-in-law Steven Aubrey Garbee (Judy); her cousin Myra Alice Dickson; and her nieces and nephews, Sheree Readling Bissett (Jim), Teree Readling Crawford (Charlie), Amy Readling Shaffer (Michael), Thomas Alexander Readling, Jr. (Angela), Gregory Steven Garbee (Amaia) and Joshua Clifton Garbee (Rosalinda). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren, and the children of her friends.
