Curtis leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Curtis’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his father James O. Dawkins; and his grandparents, James, Louise Dawkins, Sr. and Margaret W. Singleton. He is survived by: his mother Dora B. Dawkins; his brothers, Gerald P. Dawkins and Timothy O. Wilson; his girlfriend Linda Jackson; his girlfriend's children, Zaria Green and John Green; and his aunt Donna B. Evans. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, great-nieces, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ray Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. (1373 Sweeten Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28803). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
