He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Crawford Evans and Margaret Clark Evans; and his son Michael Evans. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Yvonne Hegar Evans; his children, Michelle Chriscoe (David) of Denton, Kim Evans of Asheboro and Jeremy Wilson (Deborah) of Leicester; his granddaughter Courtney Chriscoe (Spencer) of Asheboro; his siblings, Martha Maney (Gary) of Arden, Keith Evans (Kathy) of Leicester and Mark Evans (Linda) of West Union, SC; and his pets, Jake, Cholie and Sookie.
