We are sad to announce that, on March 1, 2025, at the age of 78, Danie Arthur Johnson in Asheville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Arthur and Alice Rebecca Simpson Johnson; his wife Mary Lou; and his sister Amy R. Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Megan Whelen (Jim), Sally Pitts (Jack) and Craig Johnson (Lillian); his grandsons, Colin, Connor, Daniel and Nolan; his siblings, Fran Harris, Jimmy Johnson and David Johnson; and his brother-in-law Phil Cocke. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
