He was predeceased by: his parents, Colon Wellmon and Martha Sweeney Wellmon. He is survived by: his wife Janice Bentley Wellmon; his son Richard Wellmon (Melissa); his siblings, Pamela Pritchett (Glenn) and Mark Wellmon (Cindy); and his nieces and nephews, Amy Pritchett, Crystal McVay, Brad Wellmon and Brian Wellmon.
