He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard James and Cumi Shelton Meadows; and his brothers, Herschel, Charlie and Larry Meadows.
He is survived by: his wife Jeri Worley Meadows; his sister Bonnie Collins; his nephew Bill Meadows; his pet Boots; Wade Gillespie. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
