It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora DeLoache Hare of Asheville, North Carolina, born in Saluda, South Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nathaniel and Mary Lester DeLoache; her husband Sidney Hare; her daughters-in-law, Patricia Lee Fraysse Hare and Levanah Ruthschild; and her siblings, Mary Susan DeLoache, Ruth DeLoache Thompson, James Lester DeLoache, Michael Kempson DeLoache and Paul Matheny DeLoache.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth of Baltimore, Maryland, James Sidney (Robin) of Weaverville, N. C., John Herman of Columbia and S. C; her grandchildren, Maitreya, Molly (Daniel), Meghan and Kaden; her great grandchild Emelyn; and her sister Sara DeLoache Gibson of Sumter.
