We are sad to announce that, on October 19, 2022, at the age of 82, Doretha Woods (Asheville, North Carolina), born in Beckley, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Berry and Patsey Ann Berry; her husband Elder Truman Woods; and her daughters, Sharon Chandler and Yolanda Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Truman W. Woods, Jr., Gary Woods, Teretha Mintz and Deborah Edgerton (Tony); her brothers-in-law, John Woods and Fred Woods; and her godson Marcus Robinson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; five grandchildren; several cousins.
