She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hoyt Hunter, Sr. and Mallie Lee Thornlowe Hunter; her husband Herman George Stone, Sr.; and her daughter Marcia Brooks. She is survived by: her children, Larry Stone (Ellen) of Murrells Inlet, SC, George Stone, Jr. (Ernestine) of Asheville, David Stone of Jasper, GA, Lisa Stone (Stephanie) of Hendersonville and Susan Merrill of Hendersonville; and her son-in-law Carl Brooks of Clayton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
