Eileen Pearson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eileen Pearson (Asheville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister Shirley Skillman; her parents, Lavinia Schoonmaker and Stanley Schoonmaker; and her mother-in-law Elsie. She is survived by: her husband Walter Pearson; her friend Louise Shirby; her daughter Kelly Pearson; her son-in-law Steve Durham; her son Kevin Pearson; her daughter-in-law Lindsay Kaplan; her grandson Wyatt Pearson; her brother Bill Schoonmaker; and her sister-in-law Linda. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
