She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Ayres and Annie May Garrard Hodnett; her former husband Gary A. Briggs; Allen Briggs and Jim Hodnett.
She is survived by: her children, Jeremy Briggs, Sara Addison-Kristel (Drew) and Jesse Blake Addison (Lindsay); her siblings, Sam Hodnett (Nancy) and Susan Gibb (Ed); her grandchildren, Allen Briggs, Grayson Briggs and Noelle Elizabeth Addison; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Pandolfo Briggs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
