With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Sue Rosenberg Gilreath of Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Estelle Evans Rosenberg and Ed; her brother Edwin A. Rosenberg; and her granddaughter Austen Rose Gilreath. She is survived by: her sons, Evan Gilreath and Spencer Gilreath; her grandchildren, Jonathan Gilreath, Flynn Barber, Stella Barber, Keith Jenkerson, Cole Jenkerson and Camille Jenkerson; and her brother Dr. Larry Rosenberg.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 43 N Liberty St, Asheville, NC 28801.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to WNC Nature Center or Brother Wolf Animal Rescue.
