He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Marion and Katie Brown Burnette; his son Tim Burnette; and his siblings, Rebecca Baldwin and Elbert Burnette, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Doris Rice Burnette; his sons, Gary Burnette (Donna) and Greg Burnette (Lisa); his daughter-in-law Terri Burnette; his grandchildren, Shaunte Burnette Means, Travis Burnette, Timmy Burnette, Tiffany Burnette Payne, Tara Burnette Hyatt, Gabby, Lauren and Micah Burnette; his great grandchildren, Emma, Macy, Lottie, Shepherd Burnette, Jax, Ellie, Owen Hyatt, Carter Burnette and Brayden Means; and his brother J. W. Burnette.
