He is survived by: his wife Penny Burnette Gaddy; his son Travis Smith (Sarah); his granddaughters, Hannah of Burnsville and Autumn Smith of Burnsville; his sister Joan Garrett (Tony) of Charlotte; his sibling's children, Redd Redmond, Jackson Garrett (Ashley), Jordon Garrett and Cameron Garrett; his great-nieces, Kennedy Garrett and Kali Garrett; his parents-in-law, Norma and Ray Burnette; and his close friends, Terry, Mona Moore, Angela Henderson and Annette Parker.
