He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Buchanan and Opal Pitman Buchanan; his brother Ted Buchanan; and his nephew Tim Buchanan. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Scott Buchanan, Eric Wayne Buchanan (Stacy), Anthony Reece Buchanan (Kristin) and April Buchanan Fox (Robert); his siblings, Emma Lee Ledford (Ellis), Johnnie Buchanan (Mary Frances) and Paul (Rhonda); his sister-in-law Louise Buchanan; and his grandchildren, Payton Grant (Jeff), Jordan Buchanan (McKenzie), Nevaeh Buchanan, Ella Buchanan and Landon Fox.
