He was predeceased by: his parents, James Erwin Hill and Catherine Geneva Bright Hill. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Bryant Hill; his son Daren Hill (Elizabeth Ann); his granddaughters, Ashley Ann Hill and Emily Ann Hill; his great grandchildren, Davaion Paul Bristol, Jr. of Asheville and Kingston James Bristol of Asheville; and his sisters, Roberta Jones and Juanita Hill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
