He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Lamb and Rachel Lamb; his wife Willie June Hannah Lamb; his siblings, James Norton, Bill Lamb, Eveolean Dodd, Alice Ann Waldroup and Dennis Lamb; and his granddaughter Sara Metcalf Gardner.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Metcalf, Gene of Asheville, NC, Marie Souther (Tony) of Hendersonville, NC, Crystal Lamb (Chris) of Asheville, NC and Tina Keith of Fletcher, NC; his grandchildren, Tegan Villalva, Georgianna Emrich (Matthew), Jace Banks, Jayden Banks (Adamaris) of Asheville, NC, Jamey Ann Banks of Asheville, NC, Jacelyn Banks of Black Mountain, NC, Jaryn Banks of Asheville, NC and Nicholas Metcalf of Weaverville, NC; and his great grandchildren, Maggie Gardner, Lukah June Banks and Liam Harris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
