It is with sadness that the passing of Gloria Orr of Asheville, North Carolina is shared. Gloria, born on November 7, 1929, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pansy Lorene Hubbard and William Culberson Macon; and her siblings, Bill Macon, Tom Macon and Barbara Brown.
She is survived by: her husband John Edward Orr; her children, Andrea Orr and Steven Orr (Annie Orr); her grandchildren, Heather Frost (Dustin Frost), John Franklin Orr and Katelynn Orr; her great grandchild Breanna Macon Frost; and her grandchildren, Jonah Lee Frost, Abigail Mae Frost, Dillon Edward Orr, Juniper Green Orr and Sage Eden Orr. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Morris Funeral & Cremation Care (304 Merrimon Ave, Asheville, NC 28801). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Morris Funeral & Cremation Care Chapel (304 Merrimon Ave, Asheville, NC 28801).
