He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kenneth and Shirley M. Davidson; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Messer and Pearlene Brown. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his daughter Debbie Sexton (Mike); his grandchildren, Taylor Sexton and Corey Sexton (Athena); his brother Kenneth Davidson (Doc); and his brothers-in-law, Danny Messer (Belinda), Wilford Messer (Norma), Jeff Messer and Neil Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
