He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda June Gregory; and his parents, Dean Gregory and Ardele Gregory. He is survived by: his son Herbert Gregory Jr.; his grandchildren, Jessie Gregory (Adam Begley) and Nathan Line; his great grandchild Addison Begley; his cousins, Arthur Green, Roy Green, Brenda Green, Harole Green and Jason Palmer; and his sister-in-law Reba Smith.
