He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Lance and Edna Creasman Lance; and his wife Catherine C. Lance. He is survived by: his children, Janice Daniels (Nick) and Gary Lance (June); his brother Harold Lance of Asheville; and his caregiver Jennifer. He is also survived by two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren.
