He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Lee Burgin and Clara Bell Petty Burgin; and his siblings, Julia Burgin, Antinita Burgin and Robin Petty.
He is survived by: his wife Sabrina Freeman Burgin; his fiancé Elaina Brooks; his children, Deshawn Burgin, Shamequia Burgin, Cordero Burgin, Brandy Burgin and Breanna Burgin; his stepchildren, Felicia Tomberlin (Joshua) and Brandon Freeman; and his sisters, Ann Dean and J. B. Burgin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
