He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Bellamy Sr. and Nettie Montgomery Bellamy; his siblings, Steve Bellamy, Jr. and Ella; his brothers-in-law, Bob Moss of Miami, FL and Billy Hearst of Asheville; and his nieces, Carol, Cathy and Clarissa of Miami, FL..
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Earle Bellamy; his son James Bellamy, Jr.; his stepdaughter Shenee Earle; his sister Rosa B. Hearst of Asheville; and his siblings-in-law, Marshall Earle, Elaine G. Bellamy of Durham and Annie Ruth Morton of Phoenix, AR. He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
