With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Collis of Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Evangelos Collis and Stavroula Collis. He is survived by: his wife Maria Psilopoulos; his daughter Steffie Collis Rantzos; his son-in-law Paul Rantzos; his grandchildren, Dean Rantzos and Malia Rantzos; his sisters, Maria Vlamis (Nick) and Yiannoula Ginis (Thanassi); his niece Margarita Vlamis; his nephews, Michael Vlamis, Dr. Costa Vlamis (Laura), Anthony Ginis and Evan Ginis (Haroula); and his siblings-in-law, Eve Psilopoulos (Charlie Karukstis) and Dino Psilopoulos.

Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral; 600 East Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203.
