He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ratcliff and Ella Taylor Ratcliff; and his sister Geraldine Rakie. He is survived by: his wife Frances Ratcliff; his children, Dianna Nickell (Bennie) of Asheville, NC, James Ratcliff (Carina) of Deltona, FL and John Ratcliff of Asheville, NC; and his brothers, Charles Ratcliff (Robin) of Candler, NC and George Ratcliff of Jackson, OH. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
