He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Junior Wilson and Thelma Gertrude Burnette Wilson; his wife Mary Sue Wilson; his granddaughter Sherrie Justice; his sons-in-law, Darrin Collins and Steven Justice; and his brothers, Jack, Willie and Vernon Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, James Wilson (Janet) of Asheville, Kim DeWeese (Randy) of Alexander, NC, Brenda Justice of Asheville and Sandra Collins of Asheville; and his grandchildren, Connie, Tiffany, Brooke, Travis, Cody, Levi, Jamie, Cassie, Brandon, Kelsey and Larry.
