He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lathrop and Beatrice Lathrop; his girlfriend Ada Phillips of Deerfield; his son Frank Lathrop of West Union, SC; his former wife Marjorie Lathrop of Helena, MT; his wife Sarah Scott of Seneca, SC; and his stepdaughter Susan Woodruff of Frankfort, IN..
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Stringer (Peggy) of Helena, MT, Victoria Bannon (Vicky) of Alexis, NC and David Lathrop of Savannah, GA; his stepdaughter Mary West; and his grandchildren, Matthew Lathrop of Seneca, SC, Jay Stringer, Jessica Stringer and Lindsay Phillips of Taylors, SC. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
