He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Geraldine; his parents, Fred and Rosa; his siblings, Jean, Shirley and Bobby; his stepmother Helen; his children, Betty Jean Rivera and Brent Brown; his sister Sue; his children, Neal (Cheryl Brown), Keith (Irma Brown), Angelo (Natalie Barfield) and LeaVern (DeGaulle Saleh); and his grandchildren, Emmitt and Ivy. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
