He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy King and Maude Clark King; and his siblings, Larry King, Geneva Fox and Polly Fox.

He is survived by: his wife Kristie King; his children, Jacob King (Nikki), Adam King (Manning) and Stephanie Renea Fortner; his grandchildren, Delane Rogers and Stephen Rogers; his great grandchild Grayson Rogers; his sister Kay Reeves (Wesley); and his sister-in-law Joann King. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

I have very fond memories of converstations with Jim when I was working at MSJ. Jim was so very proud of both boys and loved to share what they were doing academically as our kids were getting older. And he always told me how proud he was of you and how he was blessed in the life you two made together. Prayers for you, Kay Murray”
